Dunedin to Te Anau

Via Alexandra

rain 11 °C

Driving from Dunedin to Te Anau today, via Alexandra and Clyde we had a nice taste of the rain and Central Otago bitter cold! It got down to 10 degrees and rained. When we got to Te Anau there was not a cloud in the sky?! 😳
We did stop at Ranfurley and met an amazing lady who was spinning wool and uses it for her crafts. Whilst looking at her craft the power went out from the high winds blowing.
We found apple trees and plum trees .... wow sooo sweet!
In Te Anau we had dinner at a small bar call the Black Dog!
We had whitebait patties, fresh Salmon, scallops and wild venison. And a couple of Fiordland Lagers. Amazing!
Back to our little room for a shower in the facilities at the holiday park! 5 star!
The shared bathroom is heated and marble, with flowers and hairdryers at every basin!
Early night for these gypsies!! Big day tomorrow 😁
